Table Tennis Game Rules

In table tennis, the server must alternate serving between points. In doubles matches, the serve must also alternate between players on the same team.

4.3 Let

If the ball, during service, touches the net but still lands in the correct service court, it is called a "let." In such cases, the server is allowed to serve again without any penalty.

5. Match Conduct

5.1 Changing Sides

After each game, the players or pairs must switch sides of the table. This is to compensate for any differences in lighting or air flow that may affect the game.

5.2 Timeouts

Players or pairs are allowed a limited number of timeouts during a match. Timeouts can be used to rest, strategize, or break the momentum of the opposing team.
